Joppy’s Gaming Horde 3-RPG’s and the King

First off-

Sneak King- You go around sneaking up on people as “the Burger King”, giving people food. For $3.00, not too bad there. For those living overseas, The king is a guy in an oversized mask, that started out as a guy suprising a guy in bed, and then giving the guy……a sandwich.

Grade-B, for the Novelty alone.

Now the RPGs-

Xenosaga- Cute Robot Girls(KOS-MOS), Cute Megane girls(Shion), and cute loli Mahou Shoujo girls(MOMO, in a trailer I saw, at least) Makes this better…..The controls are slightly off Kilter, though, knocking  this down a notch.

Grade- B+

Xenosaga II- Getting rid of the Megane and the Mahou Shoujo? Sad. Making everyone a bit more real? Meh.  Using different VA’s as well? Double Meh.

Grade-B–

Xenosaga III- The character Design went back to a quasi-Anime, Quasi Realist Design. This worked best. The girls in three are Uber-cute. and they brought back the VA’s back. That alone makes it better than II.

Final Fantasy X- A Classic. Plain and Simple.  Rikku is still my favorite, hands down.

Final Fantasy X-2- A lot of mixed opinions on this. My opinion- Rikku, and Yuna, as Mahou Shoujo(Thanks, Job system;p). WIN.

Grade- A

Kingdom Hearts- Another Pure Classic. Even got my mom involved in this.

Grade A+

Kingdom Hearts II- The Best RPG in my Collection so far.  Two questions- Why is Jack Sparrow in this game, and two: How did Kairi get so cute?

Grade -A++

Dragon Quest VIII- Character Designs by Akira Toriyama. It makes for one great game. I need to play this more, as I need to get Jessica in my Party….;p

Grade-A-

Radiata Knights- I am still trying to figure this one out. However- Ridley is a classic Tsundere character, and the fights with her and Jack are pure classics….

Grade- B+

Star Ocean- Till the End of Time- The only game I really got into emotionally,Plus a Bang!Zoom! dub means pure quality. Plus-Sophia is cute. Beware-The Sophia/Aerith Clone is in here T_T.

Joppy’s gaming Horde 2-Ps2 lovely fighters…..

First it was Sports. Now it is Fighters….But first-Two games that don’t fit into any Category..

1. Oni- A Woman w/ a gun 3rd person shooter. Meh. Have only played this once.

Grade- Unknown

2. Ridge Racer V- Another game I played once. Meh

Now onto the Fighters….

Budokai 2- Be forwarned- Super Buu/ Kid Buu was VERY tough. Toughness is good in a game. However- Lack of female characters hurt this title(Android 18, and Videl, and that’s it? Guess that is what I should expect. It IS DBZ. And I can Play Majin Buu. All THREE main Versions…..

Grade- A-

Super DBZ-  A Game that I haven’t played much,but I can still play Buu.

Grade B

Dead or Alive 2- Kasumi and Ayane. Schoolgirl Uniforms. ‘Nuff said. The Fighting is not bad either.

Grade A-

Tekken 4- Where is Eddy? He is the reason I played Tekken.  I still got to play more to unlock Kuma/Panda(Shades of Genma from Ranma 1/2), and more of the females…

Soul Caliber II-One of the reasons I wanted a PS2. Soul Caliber was The game I played in the Arcade.  Getting II, with graphics and the fighting the way it is, Pure Greatness. And the fact that Xiangua, Taki, Talim, Ivy, Sophitia, and Cassie are in it makes this Pure classic.

Grade A+

Soul Caliber III- Oh Noes. A game that wins over the last one. All the other ladies return Seong Mina is back as an unlocked from the start character, plus New characters Setsuka, and Tira make this game already Superior. And this game is one of the few that have Character Creation…

Win-

Joppy’s Gaming Horde 1- Ps2 Love

I have gotten a PS2 from my Dad this year(WOOT!) so I have been getting some games for it.

Lately, I have been buying Dirt cheap games from Gamestop- Sports games. EA sports have definately been bought, as well as a few ESPN games(2K5)- My Thoughts—

MVP Baseball 2004(Since the game went to college after the loss of the license(What, can’t afford the license, EA?) I found the game cheap. Pitching and hitting are tough, as the learning curve is high. However, last time I played-I started to Figure out pitching….

NCAA Football 2005- the game Kageho pointed out. I made my college, the Green Bay Makieisms, created a few players, and went at it. It is fun to play….

NCAA March Madness 2005- Can’t create a team, However, I put the starting 5 of NBA Live 06 on a team(Duke) and started up. Not as fun as NBA Live, but entertaining…

Madden 05- Meh. An Ok game. Not as great as NCAA.(or Madden 07) , but OK. Note- This game has the top 20 Madden Moments. In there- The infamous 4th and 26.(Phil and GRB)

ESPn 2K5(NBA) – I like the customization of this, w/Makieisms being an NBA team. I can’t shoot quite as well as NBA Live 2006, But I will Survive…

ESPN 2K5(NFL)- Also customizable- also has the 4th and 26 moment in the 25th anniversary of ESPN… Not bad as a game, however, this was the last game for NFL that ESPN did, as EA took total control of the license.

NBA Live 2006-No Makieisms, but you can create your players. You can play in the All Star Three-Point and Slam Dunk Contests, as well as the main games…… This game is what I Love to play….
